Flowers and Pottery

On Wednesday, June 2 we continued touring around Amsterdam. We strolled through a flower market and shopped for souvenirs. The Netherlands is known for its intricate, high-quality lace and we purchased a bit for ourselves and some for our relatives. The Netherlands is also known for it delft pottery. We relaxed most of the rest of the day at various cafes. We enjoyed Indonesian rice tafel for dinner. The Indonesian subculture is prominent in Amsterdam and their food is wonderful.

Many varieties of flowers and seeds were on sale, including cannabis plants, seen on the left.
Kathleen and I limited ourselves to purchasing a few delft pots.
