Food and Garden

On Thursday, June 10, Kathleen and I headed for an open-air food market. A sax player was moving through the cars of the Metro performing with recorded accompaniment. This was the first time we ever enjoyed sax on the metro. I have prepared an audio recording (180 kilobytes) in QuickTime format for you to download and enjoy.

We enjoyed the open-air market where we purchased food for a picnic. The market had everything: bread, fish, fruit, wine, meats, etc.

The clown, seen below, had the crowd laughing as he attempted to carry on a phone conversation using his shoe.

We took our picnic lunch to the gardens of the Museum of Natural History where I took this lovely picture of my lovely wife, Kathleen.

The Museum of Natural History began its existence as the Royal Medicinal Herb Garden in 1635. It was renamed in 1793. Click the button below to view a landscape photo of the gardens.
