Terra Cotta Warriors Pit

On the 19th we started our day at the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an. Archaeologists believe that 6000 terra cotta warriors were constructed in the 3rd century B.C. in the Qin dynasty. These warriors were destroyed by marauders and were buried for millenia. They were unearthed by local peasants in 1974.
