A native of Israel, Montreal-based composer Eldad Tsabary (1969) spent seven years in New York City where he composed chamber and orchestral music with special interest in trombone, guitar, and electro-acoustics. Recent performances include Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, Stanford University's CCRMA, and the Bourges Festival in France.
Mr. Tsabary received his education at CUNY's Graduate School and University Center PhD program, the Mannes College of Music, and the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in Israel. He studied composition under David Loeb, David Del Tredici, David Olan, and Tim Brady and theory under Carl Schachter, Philip Rupprecht, and Philip Lambert.
